ALBANY, NY (December 17, 2018) — In today’s speech at the New York City Bar Association in New York City entitled “What Would FDR Do?”, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his legislative priorities for 2019 including calling for a “Green New Deal” to address climate change and growing water quality issues.  The Governor called Climate Change a “life and death” situation that must be addressed by states like New York in the absence of federal leadership and committed New York to 100% carbon-free electricity by 2040.
